About TrustCerts
From the Ruhr area to the world – TrustCerts is a young cyber security company, which was founded from the Institute for Internet Security at the Westfälische Hochschule in Gelsenkirchen. The idea to make certificates and documents about the Blockchain forgery-proof came to our founder Mirko in spring 2018 at the Hackathon for Blockchain applications at universities.
The proof of concept followed a few months later and since then Mirko has been working with TrustCerts on the central idea of making the increasingly digitalized world more trustworthy and secure. After the technical feasibility was also proven, the first projects with FOM and the consortium for digital proofs at schools in Germany were started. Finally, TrustCerts GmbH was founded and a highly motivated team was established, which is constantly supported by three experienced mentors.
Our team
Young people with experience in different areas and industries and the spirit of TrustCerts in their genes form the core of our company – and we are very proud of this. A mix of talented programmers, marketers and sales people makes TrustCerts an up-and-coming cyber security company with the charm of the Ruhr area.

Our expert advisory board
“It’s the mixture which matters” – and so we rely on the experience and expertise of our three mentors right from the start. With different core competencies, our advisory board supports us, for example, in the planning and implementation of our corporate strategy, helps us with customer acquisition and is generally available to answer questions.

What are your chances?
- Active shaping of digitalisation in the B2B sector
- Establishment, development and management of a digital company
- Establishment of an extensive network through contact with various customers and partners
- Opportunity to take on a leadership position in an emerging start-up
- Flexible working in the office and home office
What are your tasks?
- Preparation of the monthly statements and customer invoices
- Recording of receipts and transfer to the tax accounting
- Correspondence with the tax advisor in all questions concerning accounting and other tax issues
- Development of monthly analyses on various controlling issues
Quantification and profitability analyses - Quantification and profitability analyses
- Support of the management team in operational activities such as the preparation of financing plans
- Support with financing rounds
What qualities should you bring with you?
- You are characterized by a “hands-on” mentality and are ready to take action
- You are in an advanced Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics or comparable courses of study and have an affinity for numbers and analysis
- Ideally you already have some practical experience in the field of accounting & controlling with (not mandatory)
- You convince through an independent and structured problem-solving mentality, in order to tackle major challenges independently
- You are motivated by your thirst for knowledge and possibilities to grow beyond yourself

- You are characterized by a “hands-on” mentality and are ready to take action
- You are in an advanced bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, sales management, industrial engineering, business informatics or comparable courses of study and have an affinity for key figures, customer contact and sales
- Ideally you already have some practical experience in business development or sales (not mandatory)
- You convince through an independent and structured problem-solving mentality, in order to tackle major challenges independently
- You are motivated by your thirst for knowledge and possibilities to grow beyond yourself
