TrustCerts wins start-up competition

In June we took part in the "NEUE GRÜNDERZEIT NRW" competition organised by the NRW state government. We were able to impress the jury with our idea and asserted ourselves against four strong competitors.

The competition was open to founders who have started their company in the last twelve months. One of the participants was Miss Planty, a small, sustainable unpackaged shop from Essen. Also Schneckenhouse GmbH, which specializes in custom-fit furniture for caravans and tiny houses. Due to Corona, the competition had to be digital and was realised in the form of a video conference with live broadcast

Our team is very happy about the price, which was donated by the Landesbank NRW. On September 30th, we will represent the Essen area in the grand final against eight other young companies. The overall victory there is endowed with 5000 euros. We at TrustCerts are hopeful that we will also be able to successfully present our innovative products for making processes and documents forgery-proof to the jury at the upcoming events.

'I congratulate TrustCerts on a convincing pitch. With the idea of a digital notary public, the start-up is an exemplary demonstration of the potential that lies in the young founders in Essen. Even if their projects are still in the starting blocks, we want to give them the necessary support and encourage them to stay on.'

Minister of Economics and Digital Affairs Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart
